Giving something back

Mitrais embraces the principle as a corporation that it has fundamental responsibilities to the society in which it operates.

Those responsibilities include assisting those who are disadvantaged as a result of trauma, medical problems or economic circumstances, as well as helping to lay a solid educational foundation which is essential to improving the long term well-being of our community.

Our support of YKIP and of Indonesian universities embodies our belief in this principle.

	Yayasan Kemanusiaan Ibu Pertiwi Mitrais provides direct and inkind support for this foundation dedicated to health and education projects.
	Indonesian University Programs Mitrais works closely with a number of Indonesian universities.

As part of its CSR activity Mitrais has developed a clinic system for use by the Yayasan Rama Sesana (YRS) reproductive health centre.
The objective of the clinic’s work is to improve community knowledge and awareness of reproductive health, including prevention of the spread of sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, by providing quality and affordable services.

As part of its ongoing commitment to Indonesian universities, Mitrais accepts students for two months on-the-job IT training during the regular semester breaks. Mitrais also welcomes study excursions in which a Mitrais project manager shares extensive knowledge with students from various universities in Indonesia.
